For the Ones Who Carried the Weight

Veterans, active-duty military, police, firefighters, and first responders receive 50% off all services at Healing Warrior Arts — traditional SomaVeda® Thai Yoga bodywork and wellness technologies, in Brooksville, Florida. The name of this practice is not an accident: this work exists for warriors first.

Bodies that served carry more

Years of gear, shift work, adrenaline, and impact leave their signature: tight backs, locked hips, shallow sleep, a nervous system that never quite stands down. The work here is old, unhurried, and hands-on — assisted stretching and sustained pressure on a mat, fully clothed, for as long as the work takes. No oil, no table, no rush.

These are traditional bodywork and wellness practices, not medical care, and not a replacement for any treatment you're receiving — many clients use this work alongside their existing care for everyday tension, stress, and recovery. We publish the published research on Thai bodywork so you can judge the evidence yourself.

Under a warrior tradition

Healing Warrior Arts operates as part of the Native American Indigenous Church (NAIC) — a federally recognized tribal organization whose mission is protecting and preserving Indigenous healing knowledge. The 50% service discount for veterans and first responders is part of NAIC membership, which costs $15 a year and covers your family too.

Some who come to receive the work stay to learn it. The weekend Fundamentals class teaches you to give a complete Thai Yoga session — several students each year are veterans learning to work on fellow veterans. Ask about your discount when you start the certification path.

Straight answers

Who qualifies for the discount?
Veterans, active-duty military, police, firefighters, and first responders — 50% off all services. Just mention your service when you book; bring any service ID you have on your first visit.
Do I have to join anything?
Services are provided under the Native American Indigenous Church (NAIC), a private tribal organization. Membership is $15 per year, your family can join with you, and it is what makes these traditional services legally accessible. There are no religious services to attend and people of any faith or background are welcome.
Is this covered by the VA or insurance?
These are private wellness services, paid out of pocket — they are not billed to insurance or the VA. NAIC Christian Science Practitioner services are HSA-authorized per IRS Publication 502. Keep any care and medications your physician has prescribed.
What do people actually book?
Most start with a SomaVeda® Thai Yoga session — mat-based, fully clothed bodywork for tension, stress, and recovery. Many go deeper with a Therapeutic Day that adds far infrared sauna, PEMF, and mild hyperbaric oxygen. Some come to learn the work itself in our weekend classes.
